I have been working and studying in the field of psychology and counselling for almost seventeen years, and in particular in the area of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), most recently seeing clients in St. Patrick’s University Hospital Dublin, and also in Trinity College Dublin counselling centre for students.
I am an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists ( MIACP), and of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists. (BABCP). I am also an accredited supervisor (IACP).
My approach to therapy:
Every individual has different needs and so I will always tailor my approach to you. I’m an integrative therapist, which means that I have a solid foundation in a wide variety of theoretical approaches and have developed my own way of working as a result. In particular I draw from humanistic, cognitive behavioural therapy, as well as new research in neuroscience.
Therapy is carried out in my private rooms located in Stillorgan, Co.Dublin, and Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, where I offer a warm, supportive, non judgemental and confidential atmosphere.
